What is strength training?

Strength training is one of the most fundamental ways of improving your fitness. As a novice but also as an advanced athlete, you might find yourself benefiting enormously from improving your strength. If you are aiming to be more functional but also athletic, increasing strength could be your goal. At the early stages of your lifting career, focusing on strength itself, will allow you to progress with your muscle development. It is unfortunately, the easiest way to develop an injury if not shown correctly. If your lifting technique is not the most efficient or optimal to your body structure, or if you are suffering from mobility limitations or you are lacking training experience. Not every exercise is suited for everybody, and not every exercise you will benefit from, as much as somebody else. Your recovery and nutrition will be another crucial aspect, that can make a significant difference in your strength performance. Only the right training routine, focusing on gradual increased training volume and intensity, aswell as tailored nutritional plan and recovery will allow you to achieve optimal progression.
